In a super fun twist of events, Jordan was able to visit us for six days! We met in Limassol, Cyprus, where I had signed up for a half marathon.
Cyprus is beautiful! We didn't get to see much of it, really just Limassol and the hour long, scenic drive from Larnaca (the city the airport was in) to Limassol. However, the weather was gorgeous, the coast stunning, and the food delicious.
Saturday, we walked along the boardwalk by the coast to scope out the half marathon route and the 10K route (Jordan ran the 10K). Just like in Greece, Cyprus has a lot of cats. Miller instantly fell in love with all of them. 😍

Miller loved this cat that he named Snuggles.

The next morning was an early one! I woke up at 5:30am to eat a good breakfast and get ready for the half marathon. Once everyone else was up and moving (more around 6:20am), we headed out for the race start. We were super lucky; our Airbnb was a five minute walk from the start of the race. My race began at 7:00 and Jordan's began at 7:45. It was a great race for both of us, as Jordan said his time was one of his best and I beat my Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon by two minutes! The best part of the race was the views. All 13.1 miles were along the coast of Limassol. With the weather being a beautiful 60 degrees, the race went by quickly.

The race began just a bit before this picture starts. I ran to the edge of the photo along the coast and back.

Before heading back to Thessaloniki, we had real milkshakes (they don't exist in Greece) and tried out a Harry Potter themed escape room near our Airbnb. It was Miller's first one, and our first four room escape. It was so intense and even had an underground tunnel we had to crawl through. Definitely a really neat and unique experience. We managed to escape with less than five minutes remaining!
We escaped!
The perfect way to end the visit to Cyprus: a delicious dessert!
Jordan picked the perfect week to visit, not just because he was able to go to both Greece and Cyprus, but also because we had Monday and Tuesday off of school. On Tuesday, we took him on the Thessaloniki wall walk tour. It was a good day to do that, as it was Greece's independence day and down town was so crowded.

Miller and Jordan on the walk. They were a bit wet, because it started raining on us.
Although we had a ton of fun, the visit was WAY too short, and before we knew it, it was time for Jordan to fly back to the States. 😕
